El Chaer Law Firm represented Commisimpex a Congolese company owned by the Hojeij family , in filling a request for arbitration in a US$1 Billion dispute against the Republic of Congo before the IOC (International Chamber of Commerce) – Paris. On the 21st of January 2013, we obtained a final award in favour of Commisimpex amounting to 500 million Euro, plus costs, for Commisimpex against the Republic of the Congo.
